As an amazing and powerful woman coach there is so much that you deserve, and charging what you truly desire is one of them. There is personal power that comes from charging what you truly desire. If you feel underpaid as a coach it is time for you to do something different.
This article will provide you with three strategies to charge what you truly desire.
1. Develop the right charge what you desire mindset:
Before you even think about increasing your coaching investment you have to develop the mindset that you are worth it. If not you will probably become engaged in an internal fee battle. This means that you will constantly fluctuate between not charging enough, and feeling like you want to, but never actually doing it.
What can happen is on Monday you decide to charge what you truly desire, so you take steps to move forward in increasing your fees. You write down how much you want to charge, and you even get an implementation date. But by Wednesday you have convinced yourself that for some reason it won't work, or nobody will pay you what you what you truly desire. One thing is for sure, that is, if you never ask for more you definitely won't get more.
The right mindset can attract your desired investment. The way to get more is to decide that you deserve more, and ask for it. Don't make it too complicated.
2. Decide what you truly desire to charge:
Get a pen and paper out and decide on an investment that you feel like is fair for you and your client. If you are under-charging this is not beneficial for you or those who you are called to serve. When you under-charge you are missing out on financial opportunities to be a blessing financially to others.
When you are working toward charging what you truly desire make sure that you are being authentic, and that you are not overcharging. Your motives must be right. This will make you feel more genuine and your clients won't feel like you are being greedy and just money hungry. You always want to keep the people before your pocketbook, and when you are being authentic in your price increase many clients will also feel like you are worth it.
Make sure that the value of what you are offering is in alignment with what you desire. If you have a problem evaluating your value. One way to look at the value of what you offer is to look at what the benefit are for your clients. This could be a better relationship, a promotion on the job, more time with their family, or making more money. Many times the value that your client will receive is priceless, therefore he or she may automatically look at the value on a higher level than what you are charging.
3. As for Divine Guidance:
There is power in faith. Seek God for guidance, and ask him to lead and guide you in raising your fees. Ask him to give you confidence, and strength to increase your fees. Faith can empower you to raise your investment. Faith can also give you what you need to feel successful at doing it. When you empower your decisions with faith this can catapult you into a new dimension of receiving the investment you desire.
